General Participation Agreement

I understand there are risks of physical injury in participating in recreational camp activities or programs. I also understand that participation in camp activities may cause anxiety for some youth as they are invited to try new things. I agree to advise the staff of any and all conditions that my minor child may have that may impact my minor child from having a great day at camp such as anxiety, medical concerns, IEP at school, or medications. I agree to partner with the staff to resolve any and all issues that arise at camp to ensure a successful outcome for each camper.

I understand my child will have the opportunity to participate in swimming, hiking, archery, spelunking, field games and other outdoor activities. To protect campers while swimming in the river, campers are required to wear a properly fitting USCG certified personal flotation device (PFD). Campers may bring their own or one will be provided by camp.

I understand that in order to protect the safety of all campers, Camp Hope of SW WA has no-tolerance policies that could immediately result in campers being sent home. These policies include but are not limited to:
1. Use of violence or possession of weapons
2. Use of alcohol or drugs
3. Bullying
